Our annual meeting will take place on Sunday, May 2nd at 2 pm. The meeting will be streamed live via Zoom (link to the meeting to be sent out next week). We will vote on the church budget for the new year as well as vote on candidate Cindy Harris as deacon candidate for the membership committee. Pastor Jason will share reflections on his time at First Free as he soon will be saying good-bye. The elders will share some of the interim plans in place this summer as well as our vision for ministry at First Free this fall as the pandemic gradually subsides.
In this time of pastoral transition and pandemic, you may be experiencing sadness, weariness and questions as to the future of the church. The elders want to encourage you to “wait upon the Lord”, who is the source of our strength. We want to support and pray for those who are hurting, and we want to encourage you with some of the things we sense God is calling us to do. Come join us on May 2nd!
